Handling glass lites and windows can be a back-breaker due to the weight and dimension of the panes and the uneven ground of construction sites. The methods to deliver glass lites has not changed in decades even with windows now getting heavier and larger. CRL offers the Cat. No. RGM1 Rolling Glass Manipulator, an innovative small portable lifter that allows one person to move lites weighing up 175 lbs. (80 kg) or two people up to 330 lbs. (150 kg). The RGM1 is loaded onto a truck in two sections weighing 40 lbs. (18 kg)for the top and 50 lbs. (22 kg) for the bottom section, and the unit is easily assembled in under a minute. Once assembled, the RGM1 can unload glass lites off your truck and then transport the lites and windows on site. The large 13" (330 mm) pneumatic wheels allow for traveling over rough ground on construction sites. The wheelbase can be adjusted from 27" (692 mm) to 35" (896 mm) allowing for narrow onsite walkways. Three terrific features of the Rolling Glass Manipulator allows the lite or window to be rotated 360 degrees; secondly the operator can also index the lite allowing him to move through standard 36" wide doorways; thirdly the new 39" (1 M)removable mast extension allows for glazing over doorways.
